given that the prom is happening on Christmas, I reckon we can expect some form of resolution or at least climax around our Christmas time, so strap in.

good grief, I was so unbelievably hopelessly horny at that age. I honestly don't know how i got thru that age. (actually, it was probably thanks to denial, social awkwardness, and drugs)

Kanna came back to take Mitsuki to success, instead she's finding herself falling into an old path.
Meanwhile, success is finding Mitsuki at home, while Mitsuki sees Kanna not as someone who would bring her to success, but rather a mother figure.

at least according to Joe, we hadn't heard that directly from Mitsuki, so we can put it off for now.

Mitsuki is on a good track, even without Kanna.
Joe is comfortable where he is, but he would be happy with Kanna by his side.
Kanna is… not. If she's running away, again, I think she's running away alone, again.

If she does, and Aya and Mitsuki haven't made up or come together at that point yet, it's going to trigger a major awakening in Aya*, because she can't deny the parallels between herself and Kanna with the past repeating.

(*also Joe)

after reading this story so far, I really want someone to go ahead and translate Arai Sumiko's Bokura wa Kanojo ni Izonshou / 僕らは彼女に依存症 / We are addicted to her

No but seriously, what does "starting with the form" mean?

I'm guessing it's about function vs form? Often times, if you don't understand the function of a (well designed) thing, you can start by exploring its form, and maybe learn some insights from that.

(I'm not sure dating is well designed enough to learn anything meaningful from it, tho)

It makes perfect sense how this whole situation could lead into them both being frustrated with each other for things being so awkward and tense, but neither of them has stepped up and really tried to talk it out (yet).

I'm pretty, and sure, that in this manga the talking will need to be kicked off with singing first.
maybe Narita will actually have to organise a prom. Maybe Narita will actually have to do something, that's actual work, huh?

it's hard to even know if there's updates from the author, because they've only put this on twitter, and not on their https://www.pixiv.net/en/users/46834327

i wonder if anyone is going to pick up Bokura wa Kanojo ni Izonshou / 僕らは彼女に依存症 / We are addicted to her again.

There's only half of chapter 1 translated on Bato, but the whole thing looks like such a beautiful hot mess of a story

at the risk of getting back on topic,
what's your favourite (adult) manhwa series not set in Seoul, or manga series not set in Tokyo — I can only think of Suito-to! right now.

When you say 'adult,' I take it you mean grown-ups.

yes, that's what i meant

I'm a 40 year old (trans) woman who chases her 5 year old daughter thru the house five days a week to put her in a school uniform. I don't want my escapism to be school children. especially since I spent most of my teenage/school years being a delinquent nerd making very bad decisions lol

If I had to choose a favorite, it would be Throw Away the Suit Together. It’s incredibly wholesome and realistic in portraying the struggles of adulthood. hope this helped! :)

Thank you, I'll check it out right away
I too moved with my partner to an island.
unfortunately, it doesn't quite look like this one

i think this whole manga, and its conclusion was very much faithful to its characters.
Tanaka is a professional woman working in an industry dominated by men. From that standpoint alone i don't think she'd do anything with a coworker. Let alone a coworker she finds out is a minor.
Once she realises what powerful influence she has on Toda's life and work, she suggests that they dissolve their living arrangements, so that Toda can grow on her own, as an artist, and as a person.
Todo is happy about this development, because she has already grown so much that it's not scary for her to live apart, and because she loves and respects Tanaka's input.

The build up to the kiss scene is two pages, the kiss takes up an entire page, and the resultion is another three pages. it's all entirely character driven, and reads as if was written by Toda herself. It feels cathartic. And it feels like love streaming out of both of them. What kind of love? I don't know. And i don't think that's important.

Anyway, as someone with bad brain, I'm very happy this work exists.

"In Europe, all while sleeping on a late night bus, you can go another county."
"BY LAND!?"
"Hmmm… All while sleeping would be a lie. We were woken up at the border every hour. By a policeman with a gun"

ah, yes, the good old times

I tend to read these kinds of stories despite the weird and cissexist writing since, well, I'm starved for any kind of semblance of representation. I just wield my mental eraser of shitty parts with extreme prejudice.

saaaaaaaaaaaame.

any specific reason we don't have their scanlation of

well her exactly words were:

Lavender’s going to take a while LOL;; my hand’s been hurting and i’ve been taking a lot of breaks because of it sob
BUT I’m working on a N//SFW comic of Lavender to get a hang of drawing comics again so that’s exciting :^)

and I just checked her art-blog and she did collaboration comic and there are Lavender's characters

part 1 http://kumadraws.tumblr.com/post/162558837912/kumadraws-1-2-collab-with-duck-cream-shes
part 2 http://kumadraws.tumblr.com/post/162558834407/kumadraws-1-2-ren-frankie-duck-cream

could we… uh… mirror these, now that tumblr requires a login for NSFW blogs?
