"Lesbians are not good with communication" is just a trope and not a real thing, right?

It's real. It's a subset of "humans are not good with communication".

This is power harassment. Saitou got her the job, then started putting the moves on her with the implication that her position and advancement in the company were contingent on sexual favors. Luckily this wasn't entirely the reality, but still, I feel like if Saitou were a man everyone here would be calling them a creep...

she is more likely to flirt with girls, but i doubt the story is actually making Saitou as some one that beds the women in the company LOOL, you are not realistic, how many bloody bi and gay women do you think the company has? all of them? also this is a gaming company, the ratio for men vs women is small, i doubt she had sex with any one of them LAMO, more likely her flirty personality made the rumors go wild

What? I didn't mention Saitou's "player" reputation at all. Everything I said is rooted entirely in how she treated Fuyu...

Ok I was kinda worried there at the beginning, and was thinking of requesting some tag changes, glad the story came around in the end whew.

Not sure why this has the "wholesome" tag. This is pretty clearly sexual harassment.

I like that nonchalant look the sempai had when the mc got the design job.

Yeah I got totally turned off by this, constantly harassing your direct subordinate to date you is super messed up whether you're a man or a woman.

Hitting on a co-worker (and a subordinate) once may be unprofessional, but I think what tips the line into harassment here is that it is a repeat attempt. "Have you changed your mind yet?" shows she has the same concept of consent as silicon valley software: there's no "No", only "maybe later". And with a Kabedon, no less, an invasion of intimate space quite literally cornering her. As a fantasy it's okay enjoying brash pick-up attempts, but I too think that's uncomfortable.

Uh, sorry to break it to you, but game production isn't a boy's club. Sure, the indie scene is more male-tilted (mirroring the self-employed sector being predominantly male) but just read the credits of any larger game project: Women absolutely work there. That company has an entire team only for BGs. Any (non-military, non-religious) organization at that scale is going to have the same gender and sexuality distribution of the overall working population, simply because you don't just have on profession (Programming), but many (Art, Accounting, HR, Management, PR, QA, et cetera).

So the odds of finding WLW in the company aren't worse than in, say, the postal services. Or a chain restaurant.

Surprisingly wholesome for how it starts out xD

Normally I hate repeat-harasser type characters, but somehow Saitou managed to just narrowly pass the vibe check for me.
