The first two chapters seem to be out of order.

Other than that, this seems like it could be interesting and I wasn't expecting Frost to have an full on henshin sequence. With that said, she's a bit—extremely—incompetent.

Bless the author for making Frost actually as tall as the armor, and not a petite woman in an oversized suit.

I'm enjoying it, but as a comedy, not a romance. Frost just isn't very compelling

I can see why sometime is drawing this. The knight's and the monsters' designs, the transformation belt, this is all just a perfect sometime manga. :D

And looks like after introducing us to the protagonist, her circumstances, and the maids, it's now time to learn of her knight's story as well.

I love that Frost is actually gigantic. Even in stories where the protag and love interest have a size difference it's typically because one is excessively short, but protag here is normal height and Frost is just a MOUNTAIN of a woman.

I really love this series, Clarice is such a fun protagonist and Frost is an interesting take on the rough and mysterious love interest you usually find.

Still acting like she wants to kill Clarice half the time isn't really fun to read.

Also, they are exactly the perfect height difference that Clarice could literally use Frost as a bed and her enormous chest as pillows.

Slight age gap too, at 18/24. Just outside the "half plus 7" modern guideline. Though for a medieval political marriage, that could be pretty close together.

I think Frost is a lonely, neglected kid on the inside, who has learned to project the angry, rough demeanor to keep others away and thus to protect herself from negative feelings that she has never been taught how to simply sit with. She also does not seem to be particularly well-trained in using her power armor, judging by the amount of collateral damage she has caused in every fight so far. The collateral damage makes other people fear her, so she pushes them away, relying instead only on herself, ending up even more lonely and neglected, perpetuating the feedback cycle.

Clarice is amazing and badass. Frost has no chance in hell of resisting her charm, though she'll certainly try her best.

Of COURSE she has a transformation item. This is sometime-sensei after all - I wonder if the original work is different in that regard.
Interesting that the 'attack name' is "executing first function" - I wonder if this will be one of my favorite genres, where magic is actually Sufficiently Advanced Science™ - it's so good when it's done well. Or even not done so well (looking at you, Murder Princess).
It seems Frost had some infection or something on her shoulder, maybe from her fight, like the black crystals that have been on all the monsters we've seen so far. Could this be a "magical evil crystal infection" scenario? And the dark-haired girl from Frost's past was killed by that evil crystal infection (or a monster that was)? And that's how Frost got her Special Armor? That only Frost's Special Armour can face? Which is why there are no other knights or soldiers to fight this very evident crises?!
Well, maybe. I really liked After School Re-Reincarnation; even though it was pretty heavy-handed with some of the foreshadowing, there was still some twists and subversion so maybe I'm just projecting that story's character onto this one.

I have to appreciate Somechime effort into making Tokusatsu references in every manga they work, love to see it.

Great character designs, the story looks promising and the dialogues are fun, the action scenes are also beautifully done.
Can't wait to see how Clarice will get to Frost soft spots.

It's definitely one I'm enjoying a lot so far, and I really look forward to seeing how the romance progresses. Both leads are already interesting to me and I'm looking forward to how seeing how they progress, both as characters and how the romance unfolds.

Definitely liking this this so far and it's not just from the Beserker vibe Frost gives off when getting the job done!

'I Want To Make Black Knight Fall In Love With Me' has a nice premise!

Frightening, shadowy beast-looking dragon FMC seems to have a small head compared to her body as a whole. Madame Clarice's character is interesting to follow, along with the 4 maids. Surely the chapters will bring out more humor concerning Frost and her shenanigans (and extra maids!)

Possibly a slow-burn comic of Yuriness... Pause! Nonsense. I have not witnessed any YURI in this comic—simply mushy stuff with Clarice and her inner thoughts (and facial expressions). I'm sure the romance will appear later, but come on man! I'm shipping the FMC with the maids at this point... Kidding, Frost x Clarice is the canon 'ship' of course.

Yes, you do not need to tell me... I know the manga was recently created. As someone who discovered YURI, I can't live without it anymore... I hope for restorative shit!

[ Chapter 1 - Chapter 6 Review ]

(CR1) The parents seemed adamant about persuading Clarice not to marry the scary knight, but she seems to love chasing money bags -- she isn't a bad person, of course. She has a reason! Kidding. They were scared FOR her, but couldn't deny the benefits of Clarice marrying a famous warrior, albeit risky! Prominent family goals I long for...Wait, they let her?!

(CR1) 'Oh my goodness! She kissed someone with blood on their... mask? Disgusting!' is what I thought when I watched Clarice do something like that! I know she will do anything to help her sick and fragile sister, but ew... everyone was nearly unalived and they just continued! Comedy gold!

(CT2) Aww, Charlotte has a book! Living the luxury life while her sister deals with a terrifying woman in armor! Frankly, this has to be the best chapter so far. Who would have guessed Frost (or Black Knight) would be a FEMALE? Oh my god. What a shocking review, I wouldn't have guessed the big hunk of junk would turn out to be female... the 'yuri' tag doesn't give that away at all!

(CR3) Holy shit, she can cook. Holy shit, she survived the encounter with Frost-sama!? Holy shit, is that maid okay? What the fuck am I reading?... Is Frost a Kuudere? It would make so much sense -- so mean on the outside but nice on the inside! Otherwise, Clariace would be dead!

(CR4) Nothing worth noting besides a small wholesome scene between Frost & Clarice. Oh! And that Frost has a transformation item for her Black Knight attire/armor. 3 new characters are revealed... and guess what! They tremble in fear at the mention of Black King! Woohoo! FMC Frosty can't help but make everyone piss out gold when around her!

(CR5) The vessel is cruising through smooth sailing, folks! Progress is beginning to grow between these two! Cold-hearted, the killing machine is lowering her walls ever-so-slightly! Huzzah! My heart can not wait for more fluff! Clarice has become a superior among the maids! Things are spicing up now...what a cliffhanger! What's happening to Frost?!

(CR6) ...what is this fanservice? Her smile is beaming so much. Has my screen always been this bright... my eyesight has diminished! Thank you so much, cursed manga. Moving on, the introduced characters are engaging and entertaining. It drives you to learn more about them and how they were hired for the 'Black Knight'. I believe Frost's parents (if she had any) were the previous caretakers and didn't have the same ambiance or label as Frost.

I still cannot get over how badass Clarice was in chapter 5, so I have to overanalyze it. What even is "badass"? To me, it's not about kicking ass, but about acting brave and clever at the same time. Like so many manga protagonists, Clarice charges into danger with nothing but plot armor to protect her... is what I'd say, but that's not true! She actually takes a very, very calculated gamble: she sees that Frost is handicapped by the present of the merchant and his daughter. So she recognizes a very clear tactical goal: evacuate the civilians, so that Frost can fight without fear of killing them. She also knows that she stands no chance against the monsters in a direct combat, so she goes through her options and picks out two: a) use her advanced cooking skills to craft pepper bombs (a subversive one-use weapon targeting the enemy's weak point), and b) stick close to Frost for protection. From that, she develops a plan: close the distance from the house to Frost using pepper bombs (retreat if they fail), rely on her to cover her retreat with the merchant, use the remaining bombs to clear the return path, if necessary, then finally let Frost do her fireworks. It's simple, has a clear goal that is commensurate with her abilities, relies on reasonable assumptions (dogs fear pepper, Frost is protective of her wife) -- but still requires considerable guts even to attempt. So, Clarice's actions are both brave and smart -- in other words, she is a badass (and IMO much more so than her "husband").

This manga is so fucking good so far, it's going directly on my follows list. It's fantasy yuri, the characters are interesting, both of the leads are likeable, the progression has been interesting--it's really firing on all cylinders.

I like the dynamic between the main two as well, and the fact that we're beginning to dig into some character depth now. they look so good together too, and that height gap is so hot. I can't wait until we start seeing more intense yuri stuff go on.
