A surprisingly good ending

Was kinda expecting her to die or become a fellow mountain goddess, or to like, fuse with the goddess or smthn? Dunno

Very interesting, it felt a little like some of the old mythology stories I'd read growing up

I agree, but instead of the story being told in historical Japanese art, it's drawn in a comic style. I enjoyed it :)

I'm confused. Did the goddess followed the human for a short amount of time , but later return to being a goddess?

Very interesting and original story i had never seen anything similar to it.
The goddess' character design was giving me old school '80s kinda vibe.
I also found interesting how quickly things escalated to horror levels and deescalated just as fast.
Edit: So I just found out this author also does horror stories and does them very well

I think basically the goddess "consumed" her and from there they went on a dream like journey together. Afterwards the goddess let her go via returning her to her home/bed, and so she awoke in the morning thinking the whole encounter was a dream. Very fantasy and magical in nature.

Yeah it's great, I'd definitely like to see more stories like this

Yes, and magically left the human right as she was before, with only memories of what happened. If a puny fairy (hilarious, someone using the name "Erana" saying that) can do that in many a fairytale, a goddess could do it even better.

Okay but how you got that much nailpolish on ya?

Cute. I almost wish she actually migrated in time and became her friend but got called back by the mountain. Mostly because she prolly needs a friend that would tell her not to get in a car with strangers.

always a little jarring when reminded that japanese gods can be kinda dickish just because.

"Can be kinda dickish just because" sums up a lot of gods from around the world, and that's putting it mildly haha

Compared to most gods out there this goddess is a saint, looking at you Greek pantheon >.>

Well, I doubt all but one of them living infancy to adulthood inside their own dad's stomach was good for their mental development. And that one grew up knowing "My dad ATE my brothers and sisters and would've eaten me too."

Not excusing the bunch of rapists but it might at least explain a few things.
