I really enjoy this one, I wasn't expecting the adorno-esque rants from Kuran about low (popular culture) and high culture art and media. She seems to really like and intellectualize all types of different subcultures from movies to sneaker collection, it's a very interesting premise I haven't seen a lot of. I wouldn't mind a side character who disagrees with Kuran's love of international pop culture (perhaps a girl really obsessed with traditional Japanese high culture) I think it would bring an interesting dynamic to an already interesting romance.

How can they overcome such a terrifying antagonist? A girl who actually wants to DO SOMETHING!!!!

On one hand, sucks to lose their 'just the two of us' space at school. On the other hand, I can understand the authorities looking askance at a two person club whose activities are safely summed up as 'whatever we feel like'. Definitely feels like they intend to continue to expand the cast of quirky weirdos by folding members of the shut down clubs into the subculture club. Likely the ones that don't go 'ah well, the jig is up' and actually push back will be rewarded with escaping the cleaning committee.
