Issues aside I still found season 2 cute and entertaining personally. Also I always love to see art of these two together, I wish they got more ship art in general.

Complicated feelings on this ship aside, I'm enjoying seeing various art with these two that I've never seen before uploaded on here. Plus the art is nice.

And it's surprising how ? It's nothing new that LN adaptations to animes get parts removed entierly for the sake of pace so the anime can end on a good point

The game sucks narratively because Max can only use her power to move the story forward.
Theoretically Max's only limitations are in her head.
She could literally become the 13th law of the universe not unlike Madoka.

The second season... Yeah, way too rushed (and with some very questionable animation/CGI) at the start, and cut out some moments I was really looking forward to, although looking back, I can understand it to an extent as otherwise they would have stopped in the middle of an event. Still, there's better ways to handle this, we've seen enough series stretch a season to 15 episodes when necessary - may even have been worth it to go for full two cours with this one.
