It's here finally. This work won silver at last year Japan International Manga Award (the artist Monday Recover is in the photo). Relatively short too (6 chapters + extra).

The writer's name sounds pretty similar to the protagonist's, so I wonder if there is autobiographical element here.

Man, that was a pretty damn fine first chapter. I am excited, and ready to suffer.

I, one of the translators, was very conflicted if it should be tagged as "subtext" or "yuri". I believe that it fits the yuri genre as a whole without a doubt, and the light novel could probably very safely be labelled "yuri" based on the parts I checked, but given that this manhua (which came first) straddles the border, "subtext" seemed the safer choice.

I'd encourage everyone to let the story speak for itself though and judge it on that basis without too many preconceptions of what it should be.

The immediate translation suggests a past of sexual abuse. Yes, I hate that this is the first thing that jumped into my mind just as much as anyone else.

I saw the tragedy tag, but missed the abuse tag. So that page hurt. I was ready for her friend dying, not that. Especially the line about not being able to tell anyone. Brings up memories I want to keep buried.

I really hope the story isn't biographical.

Yeesh,people dropping it just because the main protagonist is getting married to an unspecified person.

Also,that cutesy-ish childlike comic feel is not helped by me hearing a piano version of "U.N. Owen Was Her?",time to wait n' see what the tragedy will be.
