The way Shimeji is drawn in the bottom panel of page 5 and the next page made me do a double take - more delicate and expressive than Tsukumizu's usual lumpy potato head style. For a moment there I had the feeling of a sudden shift towards some previously unseen reality in the narrative.

Woah, that’s not what I expected. In many aspects. Very much looking forward to how this is resolved though, it feels like a lot was set up in the chapter (lack of things to do, implication of her disappearing, and of course her getting lost).

I have such a cynical view of the manga industry that I'm continually surprised by how something this unpredictable and unclassifiable hasn't been axed.

I only recently understood girls last tour is book about an nihilistic yet somewhat hopeful view of human history.

I don't think I'll ever be able to understand what this is about. My best guess is a post modern manga about how we structure stories and myths? Either way every time there's a new chapter to read I feel like I should just lie down for a bit and kinda stay that way after finishing it

I love it when creators mess with the format, with what is expected, to create more, man, I'm always excited when I see this updated.

Boy, remind me not to let chapters of this thing pile up. That's bad for the brain.
And as I said before, every ten chapters some weird major event happens and causes a paradigm shift in both the simulation's reality and the manga's narrative.
Majime and Shimeji's literally melty sex caught me off guard, which gives me all the more suspicions about the "prequel" long strip.
Yomikawa revealing that she, as well the Gardener and Shimeji's sister are, let's say, angels or administrators of some sort is... fascinating, and it gives room for speculation. And the way reality devolved to raw text because Yomikawa's perception is so text-based was a nice touch. Still fucked me up, though.

I don't know what I expected from this series, but I certainly did not foresee Majime becoming god. Yet here we are.

We could make a religion out of this...
