alright that's cute as hell and I like the use of the mask as a parallel to, well, masking your queerness

oh, i thought it was a satire about a lot of yuri manga tropes.

You see, this story is a metaphor to how after masks no longer became mandatory, the world experienced a boom in yuri rates. As it should.

It was better for her to stand out for being weird rather than stand out for being gay.

Guess it's what it's hinting at.
