This was great. For a oneshot, this managed to squeeze in all the necessary stuff and even play around with it a bit. Really liked how sly the Hiyori was. I also loved Sensei's realization of how dense she was. It also didn't try to reverse their "age roles". While a quirky concept, it's a bit overused nowadays.

I feel like I could have done a little better in school if the reward for improvement was resting in the bosom of a pretty gal.

Does this even need age gap tag? For all we know, Hiyori might be high school senior and for Akira, we know she is a college student. She might be a 2nd year or smt making their difference like 2 years. Its said she is waiting for Hiyori to join her at the same university.

I mean, on a technical level she's not wrong. Assuming she's a lesbian rather than bisexual, then it would indeed be okay because they're both girls. That implies it wouldn't be okay if one of them wasn't, which makes complete sense.

You'll always get mixed reactions to those things. I have translated a lot of manga for my own use so I love them as a change of pace.
