All those movies looked great, especially since in every one of them mom plays the role of the big damn hero who defeats some bad guy and wins the heart of a cutie! Talk about typecast, lol. But she's clearly a natural for the role of cool, strong, protective, ambiguously lesbian tough-as-nails jiejie.

And now we've finally met auntie Chen who provided the recipe for dinner in chapter 2. And in this chapter she provides a huge side dish of misunderstanding, lol. I guess Youzi will now think that auntie Ren and auntie Chen are rivals for mom...

honestly because of the gaps between updates i'd been thinking ren and chen were the same person, up until the one talks about the other in ch4 and i remembered they have different hair colours and noticed the names were different.
