Yeah, a couple of years is too optimistic. The people in charge are in no rush to legalize gay marriage even if they did support it, not to mention that they would need to amend the Constitution. Personally, I don't see it happening this decade.

That’s an extremely ignorant and uninformed statement, but I’m not here to argue, so can we just talk about how refreshing it is to just get serious Q&A answers from these two? I think there’s always a lot to learn from these kinds of segments

In other words, you're optimistic about it, whereas it makes me worry, because often people that go public with their relationship find that has a deleterious effect on it. So Inui-sensei would agree with you and Kon-san would agree with me ;)
