This seems simple: the yandere gets a job and the neet becomes a housewife.

It seems to me wether or not you're a NEET is a straight forward question. Do you have a job? Are you in training to get a job? Are you in school? If the answer is "no" to all three questions, congratulations you're a NEET.

EDIT: Shoot I forgot about housewives. I guess that would count as a job, I might be ticking people off with that though. I'm not totally up to date with PC terminology.

That sort of thing came up in It's Tough Being Neeko, where one of Neeko's old friends claimed to be a NEET, but it turned out she was actually a housewife.
