I started this series before without finishing it. It ended up turning out a lot sweeter than I thought it would, with some real if saccharine feelings developing in there. It's so slapstick yet it still ends up having very real feelings and development in there which takes skill. Enjoyable comedy read!

I have the time now so I started rereading all my favourite yuri manga on dynasty and this is the one I'm looking foward to the most of all the yuri manga I like this one the best. Mostly because it's good in every aspect I hope for while reading manga in general. The story is sweet and heartwarming, the characters are interesting and fun, the comedy is adequate (as in I enjoy it very much, but that might be a bias as I said I love this manga) and there's yuri as well.

The ORIGINAL "Idiot Couple." It was my first Yuri manga where being Out and Gay was the norm. Even if they're idiots, Julia and Ran being unabashedly IN LOVE was considered not just a good thing, but THE BEST THING.
I started reading Yuri when most stories... didn't end well. I am eternally grateful for such a happy Yuri story.
Strawberry Shake Sweet came along at just the right time in my life.

Wow- talk about ancient lol- this is one of the earliest yuri series I remember!
I wouldnt say it was up in my top few but I always liked it so its nice to have a bit more!

Is this some equally old extra just translated, or the author decided recently to do a new 1 off chapter for some reason after like 20 years?

It was from the 2015 tank rerelease of the whole series. So yeah, sort of inbetween.

Even after so many years, this is still so much fun.
