They're freaking married

So many describing this as realistic worries me. As a very ''free spirited'' kind of person I did not manage to meet the expectations society has for us. Everywhere you go there will be opportunities and people willing to help you. Life does not need to be this grey.

But there were opportunities and people willing to help. They grew from this, got to experience something lovely, and gained something to strive for. Even if they don't have it now, it can be their north star to get through a life that was previously directionlessly miserable. The ending is bittersweet and rough, but it shows a couple who have gained the capacity to break free of the drudgery. It's just gonna take some work. Sometimes that's how it is.

Shockingly good. A very real and emotionally honest story about love in the face of an unkind reality. In the early chapters there was a growing sense of unease, lingering shots of our girls silently stressed out, problems beginning to crop up that get waved off with half formed plans. This was coming the entire time.

But it wasn't for nothing. For awhile they really did get to feel happy, unburdened, and closer than ever. They got to experience each other's best sides. When you love someone, when you catch a glimpse of what a happy life with them could be, you'll push through anything for the chance to make that your normal.

They were never gonna be able to make a perfect life so easily. They didn't have the means. But they've found a happiness to strive for and a happiness to get them through the worst of times. That's love. That's yuri baybee.

I loooooooooooove this! The central flashback would be perfectly sweet by itself but the framing gives it a depth and sadness that hit me so deeply without even seeing what happened. I wondered if the extras would spend more time on the how and the why but I was pleasantly surprised to see small snippets, arranged like scattered memories and dreams. Ending back in the present, with Mayu's expression turning into something more peaceful, is such a good expansion of the base story, again without letting you in on the details. Really great stuff.

Wanko saying Kita might get violent if Sakuma lets her guard down would be incredibly out of character for her and for the manga and barely makes sense so I'm very inclined to believe that it's a fuzzy translation of a fuzzy line and her serious concern is for Kita getting assaulted.

Maybe I'm just blind but where did the story ever introduce or show any hints that the girls wanted a poly relationship? Some of you sound like harem fans that want the MC to live with their harem and bash them if they just wants a single lover. I'd agree if their was any actual discussion being made in any of them actually wanting a poly relationship. There's a big difference between showing a poly relationship and the characters wanting one. No matter what anyone says these characters never once wanted a poly relationship. It's pretty selfish to be agree that the characters didn't bend to your wishes on how their relationship should go.

I think what's made people particularly frustrated here is that it's a love triangle between three people who care about and support each other, it directly brings up polyamory in the story, and doesn't even give them the opportunity to say no.

Man, I was really charmed by this manga and I'm glad I got to read it but I can't help but feel it was way undercooked. There's so much that feels like it was dropped or underdeveloped and the last chapter was very sweet but didn't feel earned. It's like you get halfway through a book and find out the rest of the pages until the conclusion have been torn out. I really wanted more about Mei coming to understand and accept Rinna's love at first sight but it wound up feeling like Rinna didn't get taken seriously by the story.

As far as the poly stuff goes I feel let down like a lot of people here. Even if it didn't go for the poly end it really seemed like it was introducing these ideas to create wrinkles in the love triangle that never happen, particularly with the actual poly couple and the accidental kiss. I would have loved for them to consider the idea and over time find out whether or not it works for them. Even if not it would've been an interesting exploration of love and it feels like this manga split the difference between Mei learning about different types of love and Mei's relationships with Sayo and Rinna without making either part feel particularly complete. I liked it but it really needed another volume or two I guess. Loooooove the art though.

I genuinely love when girls suck ass. I love stories about falling in love with a girl who sucks and it doesn't end with the girl becoming good and acceptable but instead they figure out how to make it work because they love each other. That's life baybee

Honestly, the feeling I've had with the pacing for awhile now was that this would be a two volume story. If that was the plan then it'd still explain chapter 9 feeling a bit brisk because Canno might've realized there was more material than would fit in a volume but not enough to sustain a third.

Regardless of what happened though, this was a sweet ending and I'm happy to have been along for the ride. Akira being honest about having complicated feelings about everything but also working on sorting out those feelings was nice to see. I'd really love to see a sequel series sometime!
