Three possibilities: She was a vampire all along OR the repeated fluid exchange ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) made her into one OR something completely different.

Either way libertia seems to be as strong as alucard, (the hellsing vampire, that is)

What is even happening.

My thoughts exactly :P the scribbly art style doesn't help really, I had to do some double takes to even figure out what am I looking at

Not only did she survive and turn into a vampire as expected, she finally managed to gain the strength to be the one to save Liberta for once as well. ^_^

Becoming a vampire means you acquire top energy. It is known.

I don't normally like violent/vampire stories and maybe its the yuri factor, but this manga grabbed me by the cojones and wouldn't let me put it down. Liberta is totally badass, but not a overblown jerk with a huge ego. The way Tatsubon-sensai has put these two women together and how they seem to mesh so well is a testament to her writing skills. Her artwork, of course, is outstanding imo and she's handled the action scenes really well when compared to other mangakas I've read before.

Theory that I'm fairly confident of: Komari became a vampire because while she was taking her last breaths, she inhaled the red mist emanating from Liberta when she went beast mode which I'm assuming was her blood vaporizing.

I suppose I like this manga. Their romance seems a bit too convenient and sudden and liberta feels a bit like a Mary Sue. I like the comedy though and i really like their fashion style. Liberta is a very classic lesbian from 2008

So in the span of three days, Komari has experienced:

Almost getting eaten by a monster
Meeting a vampire
Getting to have sex with that vampire the same night
Quitting her job
Running away from the Police
Getting shot by some Vampire Police

And she's STILL liking it more than her job.

I mean. The entire manga feels like fanfiction/wishful thinking, so.

I like to imagine this manga is something Tadokoro is writing.
