My guess is that in Japanese he said something that could be interrupted as both gloomy or smelly, or something along those line... or maybe she just wanted Gyaru-Chan to smell her.

See, this is why I requested on MangaDex that the story be split so that the post-skirt shrinking pages form their own sequel series, under the provisional title of "Plainy and Gyaru".

This is one of the cutest things I've seen in a while. A freak "supernatural" occurrence (or magical creepy social media app) starts a lifelong friendship that eventually turns into a lifelong partnership with two women who are best friends and lovers. I think there's evidence enough that it's headed that way at least. (I liked the matching single earrings in chapter 10.)
