Well, that went from nice teatime with neighbours to cute fangirl moment to squirming in ecstasy to yandere in just a few pages. What a ride.
Madoka-chan is a cutie, and bravo to her husband for being so okay with all this. Watch him sweat more and more in the second page, though.

And this is gonna make me sound like an idiot, but somehow I've completely missed that Sakuma's first name is Elly, and she's supposed to be part caucasian. I know the blondness should be a clue too, but this is manga, Japanese people are randomly blonde all the time.

That was adorable (I’m sure Wanko can steer clear of Madoka-chan’s homicidal-fan impulses) and it’s nice to see the author’s superb comic timing in the service of a bit more plot than this Cute Couple Doing Cute Things series usually goes in for.

Not that I have any complaints about the CCDCT stuff.

I particularly like the detail of Wanko and Hubby-kun calmly going back to amiably chatting over tea. One gets the impression both are fairly used to this sort of thing happening with their SOs...

Good point actually, I think this is one of the first times when the story has almost nothing to do with them being a couple (Madoka would've been enraged by Wanko's insolence even if she wasn't living with Sakuma, I think). It's a fun change of pace.

I'm suddenly reminded of my disappointment with Sorcerer Hunters.

I saw myself in Wanko there, lol. This once happened to me, hahaha. I said "I don't see what's the big appeal of X nowadays", and the person, who is a fan of said subject, almost killed me with their gaze.

My wife is a total fan of male pairings (she asked me to read a ton of crazy Sherlock fan-theory, and right now she's all about The Untamed - which is easier for me to deal with, as the show itself has depth beyond the relationship stuff, and the couple actually ends up together).

It's been this long and nobody's done a "gay Luigi?" reference yet.

Is the punchline the fact that he wouldn't have any way of knowing how "close" they were (since I don't think they've told their neighbors what their relationship is) unless he'd heard them going at it from the other room, and so by saying "not as close as you two" he's accidentally admitting that he (and Madoka, apparently) overheard them? If so, that took embarrassingly long to figure out...

And just before that Elly says they’ll try to keep it down. I like that Madoka-san is perving on listening to their love-making. Madoka-san owed them a futon cover but went all out and got them a super nice futon instead, and I’m sure it was to encourage more loud sexy-times between Wanko and Elly. He did describe listening to them as Madoka-san’s reward.

The neighbours are such a fun addition to the cast.
