Hmm. I'm not entirely sure how I feel about this one. Most of the art was great (though the bag throwing scene was a bit confusing); there was a nice mix of angst, melancholy, and catharsis; and the page count was a fun change of pace from the normal once shots. On the other hand, the black haired girl was unreasonably confusing. Towards the end you see part of it is her own insecurities and her attempting to keep the Blonde from getting hurt. But she throws so many mixed signals that I'm not sure anyone could really figure out how to react to her, to the point where an apparent rejection was almost inevitable.

Also I can't help but wonder how possible situations like this are irl? I find it pretty bizarre how two strangers would just keep meeting into the station every week for no reason, and then suddenly one tries to kiss the other and catch feelings. But anyway, one shots have to move too fast, so the plot gets shaped accordingly. We never learned their names either lol.

It's possible that they were both there because their schedules lined up temporarily, with some minor adjustments once they started meeting, rather than it truly being pure chance.

Man, I kept waiting for it to have a sad ending, but I'm so glad it didn't! The art is great, and while there were some confusing bits it was still really good.

I thought the same thing during the mid portion, but it turned into fluffy Kotonoha no Niwa, and that was different and hence better

At first, love starts like thunder. Unexpected.

"Take my umbrella"- It's quite good playing with a ways of sharing an umbrella and destiny.
Indeed, they were sharing an umbrella from the beginning, but never in same moment. It was like a secret confession of love when the girl with black hair gives an umbrella to the blonde.

"Bookmark the page your at"- it was like "Keep me in your mind"

Returning an umbrella was rejection.

But they were already connected, returning to each other.
Throwing the bag on her was like "Take me with all my baggage "

Destiny and happy ending. Beautiful love story.

I think the rain represents her general depression over life as well as her marriage. Because in the beginning she says how much she hates it. And then when she keeps meeting with the girl it is always sunny. The weather reflects her mood and how it changes by being around that girl. In the end she says how it doesn't bother her that much anymore, which shows that she is more able to face the difficulties in life now, because she's with the umbrella borrower chan.
