so they were friends all this time? they look like an old married useless gay couple

That was a flashback.

I see. I'm totally not following
guess I'm just not into this no-yuri yuri stuff

I can see where the characters may seem dead, but I find it soothing slice of life. Sometimes, reading as much as I do, one can get tired from their eyes being too busy and their brain on overload, but with this manga I can calm everything down and yet still be entertained with smart, thought-provoking dialogue. I find it refreshing.

Despite some incredibly tough competition, these two are in the running for Most Adorkable Yuri Couple on Dynasty.

Best chapter so far - and there have been some really good ones

I choose to believe this is a Yuri manga adaptation of the cartoon Daria.

Do people still not like Shiho?

If anyone still doesn't like Shiho, their opinion is invalid after this chapter.

You kno what, when this came out I kind a agreed that Shiho seemed like a very static, boring, uninterested character. Which seemed weird for a cheerful girl to be so in love with. But the more I read this series, the more I see that they both have a huge heart. They just communicate their love differently. I wasn’t sure why I wasn’t reading each chapter that came out but for sure by this point, it’s because it is a simple brief story of two girls in love who do their best everyday to keep each other in mind Andrew consider their needs. Even if it looks like one tries less. It’s really sweet and I’m really proud of Shiho for hiding behind that lamp desk for such a long time Andrew making quite a journey just to say “I love you” *aishiteru

I challenge anyone to say they still think Shiho's dry personality isn't "enjoyable".

That deadpan "Nyan", climbing and pouncing, with that same dry look on her face.. She's hilarious! You just gotta get under the surface..

I thought her personality was enjoyable from the jump

Oh I agree. I was just a bit defensive because of some early comments in this thread, and because I identify with Shiho to an extent. But anyway, I was also excited because it felt like a payoff for sticking with this. This is a great fluffy manga of two distinct personalities finding out slowly just how compatible they are.. It's...healing.

I agree!! The first posts were literally like “she’s so boring not worth my time”. Like bitch get yo ass back here and sit down like a good gay. My emotionally repressed self really does relate, and just like her we have our ways of communicating. She’s honest and while I can be honest in general, I’m still not too good with showing affection. Love is very fragile and very special to me. I’m sure Shiho treasures Akira the same!

The moral of the story is that people are different, have different ways of showing love and we should aknowlege these difference because that is what the real world is like.

Seems ok, but not really a big fan of Shiho character types, who seem really detached and lethargic/uninterested in everything. (even if she's not and just can't express herself). But interested enough to keep reading.

Never forget that this was the first comment on the discussion.

Well, that bit at the end was clever.

Actually, I think this is the second time I've seen this sort of scavenger hunt in a recent manga. Is it related to some larger trend that I've missed? It seems a little bit too specific and unusual to be a complete coincidence.

It's a thing people do sometimes? I wouldn't call it a trend, but people in my family have set up scavenger hunts when gifting loved ones now and then.
