I'm hoping somewhere in Girlfriend, Aqua blue cinema, Gakujou Drops era. I've been itching to go on nostalgia trip but can't quite remember the other good ones. Ty

Aoi Hana was quite well known when it first released. I remember enjoying it very much, though it may not hold up quite as well in comparison to more modern titles.

I'll always recommend Murasakiiro no Qualia, it's one of my favorites.

Other than that... Hanjuku Joshi and First Love Sisters.

It Would Be Great if You Didn't Exist (official title translated as Wish You Were Gone), though from what I remember finding a good quality traslation over entire series was a bit of a hassle. It's exactly what you're looking for. MC catches her boyfriend cheating on her with other girl and they both fall for each other.

This might not be the typical type of jealousy but the girls in the first arc technically get jealous of each other a lot. Love/Death. I suggest it half-jokingly, half-seriously cause it's a gag manga where the leads are trying to kill each other all the time over the pettiest things. It's the most over-the-top form of jealousy I can think of.

Not sure what you mean by rejection, like that any rejection happens between two females, that the ending is a rejection, or ?

Useless Princesses recently did have a rejection scene, though that's not the main focus of the story.

For that matter, a lot of series have rejections in the form of main character rejecting third wheel for other main character. Don't have any in mind right now that specifically focus on rejection/ending with one.

You gotta appreciate how the authors combined the whole magic element of MadoMagi and the historical background to the story.
I even read those long parts explaining the historical background in detail (though, since I am the resident history enthusiast here, it's hardly surprising I did that).
