I kinda want a Language gap tag. This is fast becoming an aspect of some of my favorite yuri stories.

Yes, me too. Can you link me some others?

Some of the doujins for Kotonoha Amrilato probably would count.

Off the top of my head, there's I Want To Leave Behind a Miraculous Love and F.U.S.S.A. And let's not forget this classic chapter of Choir!.

As someone from the Philippines, I initially got confused why she's speaking in Spanish. But damn this is way too cute! Hope to see more stories like this. Actions speak louder than words.

Everyone who likes culture/language gap should definitely play that visual novel.

Expression Amrilato has been officially translated in english and released some time ago. You can also learn some esperanto on the way.

I don't get if she's speaking Spanish or Portuguese or a mix of both lol

I speak Spanish and most of what she says is awkward.

That was really good :)

Is the first bit that is 3 days after, before she went to the airport or after, indicating she stayed longer or went with her?

the spanish is kinda off, it looks like portuguese most of the times, but idk I'm only fluent in portuguese.
but it was a good story anyway.

I feel like this idea was a little rough to adapt to manga, but it is an absolutely beautiful concept and execution. I love this. I really want an OVA of this story.

WHOLESOME STORY. I need more of this. I'm very happy the girl was a spanish-speaker, it's good to see a familiar latin language. And I absolutely adore bilingual (or more than two) stories.

The spanish was not bad per say. It gets the idea across.
The author probably had a hard time looking up all of those words/phrases.

This was pretty good. The setting of people coming to the Philippines to take vacations or learn English is spot on. Even the fact that it's set in Cebu, where Japanese people in particular like to go to for some reason, is a nice touch. I wonder if the author has been to the country?

That aside, this was pretty damn cute. Love really does transcend the language barrier.

EDIT: All the complaints about the bad Spanish are kinda uncalled for. Remember that the author most probably did their best with what little they knew about the language. If a manga or anime used my native language, I'd be over the moon, regardless of how "badly" they use it.

This was a REALLY beautiful story.

Whale sharks are filter feeders, and they're really gentle and nice, so there's practically zero chance that they will attack you. You should try the experience if you have the time and money for it. It's worth it.

This is amazing! It was an instant favorite after the first few pages. And on the topic of other good language gap stories, there's "The Frontier" as well.
