Ahhhh, I’m so excited for this one! I’ve always wanted to read a yuri manga that has theatre in its plot, and with the way things are going, it actually looks like we might get to see a relationship form between the two. Unless... the mangaka throws a curveball...

That aside, I was wondering if this website has like a sister website because while I was looking for some yuri webtoon on my phone, I came upon this site called themangareads.com, and the page looks exactly like the home of dynasty reader. It even has the same dynasty reader logo at the top. I actually thought I was in dynasty-scans.com because it had the same layout And everything, then I only noticed that I wasn’t when I noticed that the comments button was removed.

That was such a sweet first chapter! I loved how we got to see them gradually grow closer over time, and start to fall in love.

This is full of clichés. But they're all my favorite clichés, so I'll probably love it.

Also what's up with "wanting to shine?" Is that a particular Japanese idiom? Because it's used in a ton of yuri or yuri-esque properties with a performance component (Love Live and Revue Starlight off the top of my head)

Just checked it out, its a literal copy of this site.

Pretty standard, but the gay is moving fast. Guessing the friend almost let drop that Nao was romantically interested in Haruka. Also guessing that it was Haruka's play that convinced Nao to keep acting.

I don't know about Starlight Revue or Love Live, maybe they were using きらきら or something else, but in this chapter 眩しい or some variant thereof appears 5 times. It can mean different things, but I think "brilliant" and "shining" are the best equivalents, since they carry the same dual literal-metaphorical meaning in English. Think about "my time to shine", or the fact that we call impressive actors "stars". In both English and Japanese, the concept of some kind of brightness is often analogized to someone who does well in their particular field, particularly if it involves some kind of performing art.

Hmmm... I wonder why Haruka quit theater? I’m guessing it had something to do with the crying girl on the first page.
She looked an awful lot like Noa’s friend, Yuuka.
I also noticed that the wore different (I’m assuming high school) uniforms.
How will this backstory unfold? Do you guys have any ideas/ theories as to why Haruka quit theater?

"Also guessing that it was Haruka's play that convinced Nao to keep acting."

That's an obvious move, but Nao said there was a famous actor, it was hard to get tickets. Doesn't rule out Haruka being involved, but makes it less likely that it was a matter of a school play or something.

That appears to be an unrelated topic that she's moved on to. Like while Haruka was lost in thought, Nao started talking about a play she saw recently, and then she recounts the scene to Haruka. The tense changes between her description of the play that saved her and the next line with the writing, and then she says, "earlier I finally got a chance to see it," which seems to indicate that she's talking about a different play from the one she saw when she was in middle school. But it's kind of hard to tell what's going on here exactly.

So we've got Astronomy Lesbians, Game Dev Lesbians, Rock Climbing Lesbians, Hot Spring Lesbians, and now Theater Lesbians. Good stuff. What will they come up with next.

I need cooking lesbians and food porn. Gimme gimme.

I'm pretty sure there's a series about that on this site. Can't remember the name though, sorry.

Probably not a coincidence since this author used to do Band Dream and Love Live doujinshi, your typical yuri idol stuff.

Useful Lesbians.

Impossible! Inconceivable! Let's try to remain realistic here.

Not exactly cooking focused but Morinaga-sensei's Himistu no Recipe should count as cooking lesbians.
And if you don't mind something that can at worst be considered as siblings and at best be considered as subtext then Shinmai Shimai no Futari Gohan has mouth watering food on display (+ recipes) that will leave you hungry and wanting to try making them yourself.

I agree. Having more useful lesbians is near impossible. They're an endangered species that has little to no hope of increasing in numbers.

It doesn't help that women can't get other women preggers without external aid so the population is doomed to die out.
