I had to look back through the chapter to find out what you were talking about. I think you may mean the line where Honda says "if you hadn't come to get me, I wouldn't be here right now". This can be read as an implicit statement of suicidal intent. However, I really don't think that is what she was trying to say (and the translator can help clarify maybe). I think she meant "if you hadn't come to get me, I would still be in my room, not going to school".

I just glazed over that as 'wouldn't be going to school etc. right now.' But I could be taken for suicide sure, only time will tell now.

^This story doesn't deserve to have suicidal ideation as a plot point it's far too shallow.

Idk why people be annoyed with this series now, it's been pretty full of cliche's since the start, not that I'm complaining. It's still well written and well drawn regardless of some of the overused plot points.

I also really like the pacing so far along with how each lead has a strongly defined personality, it's an entertaining read.

I hope Morinaga doesn’t start blackmailing them. One blackmailer is enough. Hopefully she’ll help them realize their feelings instead, not through jealousy, but through encouragement.

Well, new girl doesn’t seem jealous at all, so it’s hopefully not going to be a full-on love triangle or anything.
