Well it was stated as "one year and 2 months (supposedly)" so you weren't off the mark by too much...

I reckon those who still question whether or not 1 x 1/2 will ever get a little lewd can at least see now that the author is capable of doing so with couples that are somewhat uncomfortable pairings, lol

Just remember that 1 year old for a dog is 15 years old for a human. And for the reason why Yuzu is small, that's because she is a Chihuahua and well Chihuahua are small dogs. Also for the record, Chihuahua leave between 15 and 17 years old (dog years) in genereal and can go up to 20 years old.

I love the details put into portraying a dog in heat appropriately, just excellent work overall.

It's the plethora of small details that shows the care and effort Taiyaki puts in her works. Like the constant use of sound effects to reinforce emotive expression. Or the orange visual theme.

The box in which Yuzu is found? It's a mandarin orange box. Classic.

In several scenes, including the final scene after the bath, Yuzu's wearing a "yuzu" t-shirt. A "yuzu" is a citrus fruit like an orange.

And the orange printed on her t-shirt breaks in half (to show her dismay) when Yuzu finds that they haven't made any babies. With a GA---N in the background. Perfect.

Speaking of small details, did you notice that Touka puts a collar on Yuzu when she takes her for a walk?
But she doesn't use a leash, she leads Yuzu around by the hand, which makes the collar completely pointless, lmao.
I guess a good, law-abiding Japanese citizen always follows the rules (like the one that says dogs outside must be collared) even if it's a case when they obviously shouldn't apply...
