Outside actually functional ones like powered armour or those Marvel symbionts never expect a superhero costume to make a lick of sense. Personally I'm just satisfied with any that don't look outright hideous.

Hmmm. I hope we resolve that confession from chapter 3 somehow in the future.

Just noticed by the end that she’s standing up with no help from a crutch.

So the boy releases the darkness which gets addressed by SHY and gets things resolved. I wonder if the boy will hate her for that or just doesn’t care of the result after letting the darkness out.

Super-heroes generally don't have a transformation sequence where their nudity is hidden by some convenient light.

Nor do they have a cute talking familiar.

Also, as per the target audiences, super-heroes are adults, or sometimes teens. Not middle-schoolers.

In the original oneshot she had the superpower without needing to transform (well, she had no transformation whatsoever) and she didn't have a familiar. I guess it was added in the serialization because the editors forced it on the author.
