What do you mean? The animation was gorgeous this episode. I mean sure... GER and Giorno floating in the air is pretty dang weird, but GER looked great. King Crimson was awesome too. Bruno's ascencion was beautiful.

Sometimes I really wonder what people's obssession is with "bad animation".

The episode was well animated, that's why that...thing sliding across towards "Diabolo" was distracting. Did you not notice it? Right before the final muda?

It's not an "obsession with bad animation", I wouldn't complain if it was an in between frame or something, it was out for WAY to long right before the climax. I was so invested before the tweening Gio, no idea how you can defend that. It is a "we'll fix it on the Blue ray" kinda moment and it sucks.

You mean that one shot where you were supposed to focus on Diavolo's Epitaph hair? Of course I didn't notice that. I was focusing on the thing they highlighted.

That face looks kinda bad, but to be taken out of the moment or cry memeworthy animation is a bit over the top. It's not even animation, just a still image.

In further "yuri is alive and well" news, Mamoru Oshii is working on a yuri comedy about vampires

I was ecstatic at "a slapstick comedy centering on a vampire girl named Mai" and "will solely focus on five young girls" and "won't have any handsome men" and "seriously tackle a story centering on a girl-meets-girl concept."

Then I read that "Mai feels similar to Urusei Yatsura's Lum" and all was despair.

I LOVED Lum. The problem was never Lum, it was that she was paired with Ataru. That's an anime about dysfunctional people running roughshod over each other for comic effect... But more than half of the problems wouldn't even exist if Ataru wasn't a giant dick.

So this season there is for us Sounan desu ka, Granbelm and Machikado Mazoku, anything else?

Joshikousei no Mudazukai is a comedy but is an all girls school so I maybe I can expect the unexpected.

Anyway if you like Nichijou or Azumanga Daioh you might like that.

And there's Dumbbell-Nan-Kilo-Moteru but I'm almost sure that the main 2 girls are very straight ... Not sure what's gonna happen after with the other girls, I sure would love if that becomes Lili Marble hehehehe

With five seasons already, is one of those series that if you don't know by know is because you don't want to know... is like mentioning One of those JUMP shonen

Cinderella nine ended. It was really average in a lot of way, either the story or the subtext.

The first episode of Re Stage Dream Days was worthy of a "subtext" tag.

One of the girls is nicknamed "Yuri", so they at least have that.

Re:stage is also high on subtext. Handholding in ep 1, it could not get any lewder if they tried.

Granbelm first impression Magica Madoka and Gundam crossover. We have highschool in a parralel magical world who prefer using mecha because why not. It's a nice first episode with no plot explanation and just action but it seem we will get plot explanation in the 2nd episode

Might be able to read something into JoshiMuda, but it's possibly the worst thing currently airing (though it's been an excellent season so that's not saying much)

Dumbbell added a bunch of CGDCT elements to the story so now the main characters come off as vaguely bi instead of just straight. Later girls might be gayer?

Alright Sounan Desu ka was actually pretty good hahaha, decent animation too...I'll keep my guard up anyway just in case hahaha.

Nanoha movie 4 gave us with more ships, extra ketchup, cats, but Fate DIDN'T KISS NANOHA AT THE END REEEEEEEE

Hope Miku does show up more on Symphogay, she got benched pretty hard last season.

The first 10 minutes of Evangelion 3.0+1.0 looks really bad.

I know, most of those animes have some yuri undertone. Some weren't even sublte, Yuyushiki in particular.

Summer season this year is pretty boring. I wish one day they start animating manhwas and manhuas as well, because this Japanese highschool theme is getting repetitive.

God please no, manhwas i've read have a bad habit to put a lot of dramas and manhuas are way too long. TheHighschool theme is the more simple todo because it's the age of the public wanted.
