I just realized I mixed up Nikaidou and Tadakoro's name. Whoops. Edited my above post.

^Eh, my mistake, switched left and right there for some reason. In any case, though, she comes from the same side she leaves to:

We have Tadokoro against the wall and Kirigaya in front of her. Seeing how when Nikaidou leaves, we see Tadokoro on the right and Kirigaya on the left, with Nikaidou in the distance, she must be to the left of them when looking towards the wall, which is also where she appears again.

I'm starting to think Kirigaya isn't very popular with the readers.

I like how Nikaidou leaves to their left which looks to go on for awhile and then three panels later she shows up to their right implying she just did a lap around that building in a matter of seconds.

Yeah that confuses me. I like the scene but we don't even know where they are in order to guess how sakurako went one way and showed up another. Unless maybe your theory is what the artist intended as the joke.

I think it's a joke, it fits the pattern of her snatching a baseball out of the air, beating truck-kun to Tadokoro and getting a perfect score on the first game she's ever played.

I have to say, that's very convincing.
In particular, it explains very well the extreme shock in Kirigaya's face when she sees Nikaidou reappear from a completely unexpected angle.

I know, right? I was thinking the same thing. "Tadokoro-san" is well liked by the crowd here, but for a short 4-page chapter to see such a massive and enthusiastic reaction in such a short time... well, I do think it's a first.

I surmise it has to do with the straightforwardness and unpretentiousness of the currently developing plot. A cute, sweet, helpless heroine everybody likes. A villain with a heart black as pitch who torments her. A hero who is the very image of a knight in shining armor who arrives just in time to save the damsel and mete out punishment to the miscreant. It has a charming simplicity it's difficult not to enjoy. v^_^v

Nikaido could have taken a shortcut through the building, possibly using some windows. Then again, she's definitely from a different genre, so maybe she just went over?

lol I can just imagine her breaking into a window, disrupting a whole class, sprinting down the hall and into another classroom, and just jumping out the window, all to confront her lover's bully.
Or maybe she climbed up the building using the windowsills, ran across the roof, jumped off, used the trees as cushions, and then slid down the tree and onto the ground.
