Isn't this the worse combination possible for a person like her? My thoughts exactly. In this comedy packed chapter we have a mentally ill girl getting hit by her mother then blaming herself and apologizing for it.

That chapter still hit pretty close to home even though I recently got a job myself.

Also that slap from the mother was prolly reactive and she prolly didn't want to beat up Neeko for being a neet but for what she said about herself. It was prolly meant to snap her out of that downward spiral instead of slapping her because of being a neet. The mother was actually pretty supportive compared to others who'll scream at you angrily day in day out. I still feel a warm and supportive atmosphere from their household, since the mom is trying to guide neeko to something in a strict way but not too strict. I've heard and seen worst cases tbh.

I dunno i like the non existence of the drama tag because it makes the dramatic moments all the more impactful and surprising.
