Yeah, the premise is believable, it's the situation itself that I find ridiculous. Their reaction would only make sense if they were already bullying her, but then it's silly that the other girl only makes it clear that she doesn't like that for the first time. Or that she only notices MC at that time. Maybe if Nikaido was a transfer student that would make sense but this just feels like an exposition
