New chapters are released when they're ready to be released.

Seriously, when we've got people asking for the next chapter the next day after the most recent one is released, that's fan entitlement right there.

So does this manga have a set time during the week/month when it releases a chapter or does it just release whenever a chapter is finished?

It has regular releases at lezhin (every week at thursday). Other chapters are released irregularly.

I have a bad habit of reading the first several pages right->left and then after getting confused noticing or remembering the tag and having to reread it, lol. Makes a surprising amount of sense that way still but not quite enough to not get lost.
