Nice one, it's the best so far of Mira's works.

If I had to choose, I'd say Crimson Fantasy is better, and certainly Morishita and Arai's Romance is easily as good in terms of comedy.

I for one really liked Earth Girls The MC's love interest was really cute and the whole premises of a lesbian cave woman tribe was so ridiculous it was funny.

I always love Mira, so I'm very happy with this, especially how long it was. Of course, all her historical works are truly masterpieces. Not everyone would put so much research and realism into porn.

So in the end, Selene the Slave became the next heir by marrying Princess Lamitie.

And they lived happily ever after.

I think Lamitie is smarter than her uncle, just less smart than Selene. In fact, Lamitie is a truly excellent spy, for one thing. She's not an idiot at all, just sheltered and prefers not to think about things she can't do anything about. Great story. A little like Laika, Pavlov, Pochihachikou or The Real Her. I always hated that Laika, Pavlov, Pochihachikou never had any sequels.

More like the governance of the estate. These guys are something like the embarassing second cousins of the cadet branch of the royal house, after all. And Selene is more or less the only legit competent member of the family around - her uncle is at best a harmless bungler, her father fails at even intriguing against the former (and hard - Princes of the Blood didn't get stripped of their status lightly), and Lamitie while not necessarily congenitally stupid is an only too typically vapid product of the upbringing upper-class ladies tended to get post Middle Ages...

I gotta say I actually like the super simple resolution to everyone's problems, save for a feeling that Lamitie isn't necessarily fulfilled by her "princess" role, and mostly used it in desperation to get Selene. The uncle going off to start a business doing things he actually likes, the brothers finding common ground and actually being friends when you take their rivalry away, Selene finding she's actually a really good manager, etc.

Most stories getting all that tidied up over the course of a page or two would be annoying, but here it's just a matter of sweeping up some trivial side things and comes off kind of charming.

Even when she's not actually looking disgruntled, she's certainly far from looking gruntled.

This was very very cute. And for how fluffy and fun and sexy it all was, the story part actually worked surprisingly well. I mean, in a oneshot like this how often can you even find anything to say about the story or any characters other than the main pair? But here we are discussing what went on fairly seriously and finding that it pretty much hangs together and has a kind of impact beyond the sex. Neat.
