Might be bit non-binary but eh*Shrug*...Eh who knows~?).

id say the trans tag isnt a great fit

slight mistranslation on page 9. the fairy actually says that the magical powers are turned into hormones within the body (so it's an inevitable side effect of gaining them)

Pushing back on the claims of the transgender tags being incorrect or ill fitting- for one, the explanation for why the MC turns into a girl is grounded in a manner not dissimilar to HRT with hormones being explicitly mentioned, even if magical in nature. It goes beyond the typical gender-bender type situation of "if this will make my love happy..." or something servicing the romance alone rather than the main character, going beyond "to make it yuri", so to speak. Especially with how the MC seems bisexual beyond their childhood friend crush.

Also, like, "I'm 'fine' with being a boy but I still would love to be a girl" is something I've probably thought of being transfem myself at some point in time. Obviously not anymore but the fact that the MC has the choice to switch back through a contract and still remains a girl.... Which Could Mean Nothing,

The hormones are irrelevant. Hormones aren't what makes trans people trans. The MC seems nominally okayish with becoming a girl, but ultimately it isn't their choice, nor is it an expression of the MCs identity. It's something forced on them against their will.

the main thing is 1. that it lacks a feeling of gender euphoria- the MC seems mostly indifferent to the process

and 2. there's no feeling of tension with gender norms and expectations- no one particularly cares what gender the MC is
