We don’t see much from the high school division, so I’m kinda excited to see how that division relationship will play out.

Komichi’s class is causing stirrings among the student body, enough to catch the attention of the senior high students, and I imagine, the teachers and administrators. Curious to see what they think of the new activities as well.

Even with all of this going on, I mostly want to know what the Akebi’s think about Komichi’s play and relationship with Erika.

I'm wondering if she didn't go to the tournament is because she is the child of a mistress and is afraid of what would happen if it got out. Telling Akebi is different.

I don't see it like that. This series has like thirty side characters and it's always tried to give them a little spotlight here and there. Some far too much like guitar girl (Hibimori? Maybe that's not her) But we always circle back around to Komichi and Erika and we know we will get some more fluff with them eventually. Every arc goes through that period where Komichi is kind of a background character in her own manga. Which doesn't bother me since a lot of the side characters are quite interesting.

Plus to say they don't care about their relationship when it quite literally had the entire school shedding some kind of worries and helping a ton of people come out to the point where they're getting blamed for it is pretty huge.

I miss Oshizu and Mai I wonder how far has their relationship gone after the festival lol

Don't forget that the individual chapters end up together in volumes ;) I know it sucks to only get bits and pieces once a month, but Hiro-sensei is writing the story with arcs in mind and chapters that are meant to go together in an 8-ish chapter bunch. In short, be patient, it'll all make sense once we get the full picture; I have complete trust in him as a storyteller.

This manga is more about the art than the story really. The pacing through paneling is gorgeous in this chapter, and the expressions carry more weight than it feels like they should in this kind of artstyle. It feels like snippets of whatever Hiro wants to practice at the moment draped over the form of a rather meandering yuri. Which, like, it's fair if you don't really care about that, I know I got kinda bored my first attempt at reading through this.
