Are the deaths literally, or just imagine? or one of them literal?

Imagined in both cases. The manga's gimmick is that she keeps imagining incredibly morbid scenarios, and that the exact construction and presentation of those scenarios is heavily trope-referential. What I enjoy about the manga, and I assume what some others also do, is that it's very self-aware without getting cocky about its self-awareness. Rather than using something like fourth wall breaks, that just tell you that the mangaka knows what they're writing, it shows you that they know what they're doing by hammering out five or six classic tragic yuri tropes in the span of a couple pages, each one distilled to the point that we only see the essential beats of it. It's subtle, but it's really only possible to make art like this, IMO, if you're very, very experienced with the genre you're riffing. I appreciate when an author plays with a genre they clearly love like this.

Even though the intrusive thoughts hypothesis is more likely, my pet theory is that the deaths are all real: she is basically resetting the timeline every time her girlfriend dies.

This has nothing to do with the actual manga, but I feel compelled to ask why its chapters always show up on the front page in reverse order. I don't think I've seen that with any other upload.

Chapter 3 is interesting to me because we get an outside look at how heavily the short haired girl disassociates when she gets lost in her daydreams.

On one hand it's cute and kinda funny.

On the other it's kinda sad when you realize that they're possibly the only thing anchoring each other to the real world. At least they have each other...

This manga's really good at communicating punchy, powerful feelings of loss in just a few panels. It doesn't even need to make anything tragic actually happen, either, which speaks to the quality of the art. That one-two punch of her standing up at the edge of the roof, then being suddenly gone, only leaving her bag and her shoes to demonstrate that she didn't jump off, she just disappeared... really good!!

Yup, for anyone wondering, it may look to the unfamiliar eye like hangeul 와와와와와와(wawawawawawa), but it's actually the katakana ピピピピピピピピピピピピ(pipipipipipi)

Ahhh, I wasn't aware! Thanks for the correction. The panels still have a bit of that disappeared vibe though, since they don't show any of the action itself, only the before and after.
As for whether it's real or not, I would guess that's not really a factor here. Since, as I said in an earlier comment, this manga's gimmick is basically to take a well-worn, tragic yuri trope, remove all the fluff to leave only its essential steps, and then push those essential panels to melodramatic extremes. If girls in the stories take their shoes off before they jump, then the stock tragedy this girl's mind produces will feature her taking her shoes off, of course.

Eh, kind of pretty normal and relatable to decent number of people...People who hadn't had at least a few times of thinking about suicide or imagining their own deaths (Though most 'normal' people won't ever want to admit it) have either lived very happy sheltered lives or just has brains wired differently.

At least these two have each other to lean on to handle the harsh realities of life.

Would be amusing if long hair girl actually had the ability to travel back in time and the imaginary deaths did actually happen but judging from all the scenes and panels that seems very unlikely.

That being said, I remember being a kid and thinking stuff like this. It would be in the middle of the night, and I would suddenly imagine what would happen to me if my parents died, and would burst into tears.
