I won't be checking the Fanbox afterword so I don't know how much is explained, but I wonder what circumstances made her take the decision to axe the series. Pressure from the publisher to make it a certain way, or else? Other life circumstances that made it impossible to continue?

I am so curious what a bad ending could look like with this group though.

I know that feeling sugar. There's kinda just a nice vibe to making your protag suffer xD I'd really love to see another full on series from them where they get to do the pace and fully finish however they want to.

Oh so it was axed but the author asked to end it, and apparently because they wanted to take the story to other direction. Honestly I am sure magazines demand a happy ending and for the “main couple” to be perfect. Initially I was going to make a joke about how the NTR chapter was the reason for the axe but this is far more interesting lol
I also like anguish, bad endings, cheating, when the main couple suffers, or when the main couple who has been build for the whole series break up in the last chapter, but most people are not like that so the happy end makes sense
