I get that she owes Hiro a lot but Emma is a lesbian so its understandable on why she'd want to leave him and not stay with him i hope once she gets confidence in herself and Takara is stable enough to support them both and she can get her own business off the ground and running to support both of her and Takara.

Her biggest hurdle is confronting her abusive dismissive mother. That is the going to be a whole thing multiple chapters Im sure.

Her and Takara once they get themselves in order financially and everything she can separate from Hiro after speaking to him about it and go live with Takara until the divorce is finalized.

Or if Takara decides she can't do the long haul of divorce with Emma at least she knows what better traits to look for in her next partner, a woman who won't string her along and will speak to her outright.

Man... I feel bad for Hario :/ no one deserves to be cheated on. Like even though I do believe that in his own way he knows Ema has never been fully his and he's been deluding himself lowkey, and probably not even actively at all, is thinking "well I wore her down enough for us to date after 2 years of rejection and I got her to get legally bind herself to me really quickly as well.... if I just keep going a bit more, If I keep showing her how much a truly love and care for her eventually I'll wear down her heart as well and she'll truly be mine completely." It's unfortunate that it's impossible.

And wow I totally believed Ema when she said she didn't cheat at least physically because she's definitely been emotionally cheating since the beginning which yeah is gonna happen when you're a lesbian trapping yourself in a heterosexual relationship. I'm sure if you asked her it would be that lame excuse people like to give of, "well there were no feelings involved just sex so it's not really cheating." But then again maybe she's painfully aware of all her sins up to this point, hence why she was so reluctant to spill to Takara and was scared of Takara coming to despise her. (And oof another L for Kanon, she knows all the little dark parts about ema's affairs and Ema doesn't mind she knows, and other hit to the gut of how much Ema doesn't hold any special feelings for her)

Honestly the way I see this ending is either Hario initiates a divorce after being honest with gimdelf and being unable to ignore the growing distance between him and Ema as she slowly grows more confodent and sure of herself, and also I can't see Ema doing it I think she feels to indebted to Hario.

Or things kinda stay the way they are? Like Takara realizes she isn't ready for the emotional heaviness of all the extra variables surrounding the woman she loves and decides to take space away. Ema's heart breaks and she kinda crumbles and stagnates once again, and Hario once again is there during an emotional low of Ema' and helps her through it lowkey feeling relieved that she's gone back to "normal" and she still needs him in the way she let's him be needed.

Don’t even on the husband side but I think it’s funny how everyone think he is binding Ema because he is aware that she never loved him when it’s more likely he though Ema fell for him at some point (she was the one who called him after some time if I remember correctly) and probably think they are now having a rough time. They are not different from any couple, Ema is the only one aware of the facts. Like I think people here forget they are married, we know Ema feelings and all her drama, for Hario they are a married couple for a reason.

Honestly I get that this whole thing between Ema and Takara is being taken slow and it’s trying to be “realistic” but this is a fictional story, it’s too slow for me, I am annoyed lol Slow-paced stories are cool and calm me but I think authors need to know how to manage it so it doesn’t become stiff. I think this is a problem a lot of adult drama has.

I don't envy any of the characters but I do think this story is interesting because of the depth and nuance the author has taken great care to show. Of course, I want Takara and Ema to be together, but I'm extremely sympathetic to Hario -- but I don't think he necessarily a viable option for Ema because she doesn't feel very satisfied in her marriage to him. Yes, I'm aware she has love for him, but I think that doesn't extend at all to sexual attraction -- which we saw when they were intimate. In real life, we probably have a bunch of these marriages, including het women being in unsatisfied marriages, but I hope this story has a happy ending.

Here's hoping that we stay to the end and they have a good ending.

Ok, last chapter I wrote an essay, I will probably write another one for this chapter too, there was a lot of good stuff in this one. I do want to say one thing, I did buy the raws in japanese until chapter 37 and read all of them, but I will refrain to say anything or even hints or a dot about it, they don't exist for me while I'm writing this, but I want to say because if you suspect that maybe I will let slip something, you can just not read, saying this just to make sure usahushaushauhsa

So, the first few pages I already love so much!! This scene is one we see a lot in yuris, the couple trying to find a place to live together and having a lot of problems because of their relationship, but I think this is the first time I see the other side of it, Takara is the one showing places and more than that, its a new Takara after she discovered more about herself and the world. Seeing how she notices that they maybe are a couple, how she understands their feelings and fears and how she tries her best to make sure they will feel comfortable. And we get even more of this Takara in the next pages we see her for the first time seeing a whole new world, things she never noticed before, that was always there, but now she can see it. Her getting flustered by how the woman looked at her, she knows there is a difference now, it was really cute suahsuahsuha I just love how Takara really embraced this new self discovery, she is not in doubt and she feel genuinely happy just by being able to be in this new world and I think this was really well demonstrated, by this tiny details and how she reacted to it.

Now for the main topic of the whole series, the couple, Takara's character growth is crazy, she is certain of her feeling without a drop of doubt, she knows that she loves Ema and there is nothing changing that. Its always so nice to see a character sure of their feelings and going after of what they want, there is a big problem with this love, but thats the whole point of this series. Another thing is that I just love how both of them can be so happy just by the thought of seeing each other, they love each other so much, it is intoxicating, I feel like this feeling they have is the result of both knowing that their love is mutual, but still they can't be together and that is building up, the yearning is getting of the charts!! And when they finally meet we have Takara again with this incredible growth! She was insane in this chapter! suahsuahsuahsua not only she is being true to herself, she is also showing to Ema her true self and feeling, she wants to make sure Ema understands without any doubt about her feelings and how serious she is. She knows its not easy for Ema, but its also not easy for her and she doesn't want just a half loved relationship. Ema starting to cry just by the words of Takara's mother, it shows so much how Ema never really thought in doing what truly makes her happy, its really sad and right after that, its Takara, someone she loves saying everything she would want to hear, offering that happiness and the most important thing, Takara is offering Ema a choice, Takara is not asking Ema to be with her and asking for her love, she definitely wants that, but what she wants more than anything is that Ema can be truly happy, so she show what she has to offer for Ema with her love and hoping that can be the happiness for Ema. But Ema can't just accept that happiness easily, because of everything in her life, how her life was built until that point.

Even if we don't get a lot of Ema's thoughts about it, we still get a glimpse of something I wasn't expecting, Ema was really quick to say to Takara that she knows she can't ask Takara to endure and let things continue like they are, even if I really like Ema and I understand her and her actions a lot , I still expected her to be a little more selfish and wanting to be with Takara in this situation, not fully wanting because she loves Takara and knows that would hurt her, but I would expect her to try to get the most she could before having to make a choice. But I'm glad I was wrong, she knows what she has to do, Takara told her and made sure of it. And again, Takara wants Ema to make that choice, she is not trying to pull her forcibly out of her husband, she is asking to Ema, "make the choice that would make you the most happy", I really think this is one of the biggest thing Ema needs to overcome, her whole life she couldn't really do what made her happy, there were probably little moments, she is not fully sad with only despair, but she also never got that pure bliss of going after her happiness, she was too scared of her mother and the others, so she gave up on her happiness, where she could at least have a comfortable and safe life.

And saying all that, now I want to talk about the Hario, which is probably the character I have the most to talk about in this series, which is funny when you think about it, but its not a bad thing, I think Hario is an incredible well written character, imo he is one of the biggest reasons why this story works so well, because of him a lot of the other characters actions, make everything more compelling. Saying all that, I don't feel so bad for him, I don't want to focus on why I feel this in here now, because its more about what happens in past chapters and lot of my own feelings with society, so it would go too far from the topic of this chapter. But one thing I want to make sure is, even if I do feel like that, I don't think he is a bad person, on the contrary, he is actually an amazing one, he does a lot of things we rarely see men doing for women. Which is why his character in this story is so good, he is doing what he thinks is the best for Ema, but there is a very important detail in this "what is best for Ema", the whole focus is that its what is best for Ema so she can stay with him, is that a bad thing for him to do? Absolutely not, its totally fine, its just that the circumstances for Ema make that impossible.

I said a lot of how Takara gave a choice to Ema, making Ema be the one going after what she wants and with Hario we see him talking about his love for Ema and that he needs her, he doesn't want her saying he doesn't need her, he is asking for her to be there because he loves her, and again, what he is doing there is not wrong, they are married for years, in normal circumstances this would be a good communication between them, but what I see here is the difference of how Takara and Hario show their love to Ema. Takara knows Ema loves her, but she also knows of the difficulty that would be for Ema be with her and how Ema is already in a situation where she couldn't choose to be happy, so Takara offers that choice for Ema. Hario knows Ema doesn't feel the same love as he does, he got to be with her because Ema needed someone to protect her and where she could be safe, but that protection was needed only because Ema wasn't strong enough, so what happens if she is strong enough? Its not like Hario knows all this and purposely do things to make Ema having to stay with him, but he feels it, he doesn't get happy how he thinks he should when Ema confronted her mother, he is feeling her distancing from him and not needing him anymore. So what happens now its a little of the reversal of their dynamic a little, where Hario is the one needing Ema and he is clinging to her. Takara is letting her choose, while Hario is holding into her, neither are wrong, but given the circumstances and the issues Ema has, we can see the one who is giving Ema a chance to grow and be better. I will reiterate, Hario is not doing this on purpose or trying to make Ema not grow, its just what she needs, he can never give her, so he tries his best.

As can be obvious, I really love this story and I'm really certain of a happy ending, the story shows a lot of the things Ema, Takara and Hario "have to do" to grow as characters and complete their arc to a happy ending, Takara in this chapter I feel she gave one giant step, she feels a completely new character with a whole new purpose and I just love to see that. I can't wait to see more of this

I always thought these author corners were cute and gave this manga a nice personal touch.
But, my heart was kinda not ready to see the author corner of chapter 30 hint that somethings in chapter 29 may have been a reflection of author's past struggle.

The feelings are getting clearer and the time is coming to make a decision.
