Afaik the tongue is pretty well supplied with blood, both as major muscle (and the only multi-directional one!) and as a major nerve hub ... the latter part also being the reason why biting/burning your tongue is so painful, so Wakana's prolly a major M.

Also, like, every part of the mouth (except teeth) tends to bleed like hell when injured. Lips, gingivae, tongue...

Anesthetic or outright euphoria inducing aspects of the bite either via saliva or a mystical part of it. Think the White Wolf Tabletop even had them able to immediately heal the punctures when they were done.

it's unclear if it's general repulsion, or more that she's viewing it as a behaviour of the humans, whom she is of course far superior to so she certainly doesn't want to imitate them.

Assuming they go forward with Wakana's suggestion, are we expecting Ruruna to bite and then suck on her tongue, or will it be more of a bite, let mouth fill with blood, then be passed a mouthful at once? Either way pretty decadent vampirism.
