I also rather like how Keiko despite her outburst has clear reasons to be unhappy as Takeru is certainly ever the upstanding citizen, who can say what he says because he's not actually going to do the work of caring for the kid or the ones he already has.

While this probably is just Rachel's fumbling ass being a dumdum, I could see an argument for her thinking Xiya doesn't really like her and would never have done anything if it wasn't for the mana transfer, and not wanting to kiss because it wouldn't be geniune. Which, you know, still a dumdum, just in a different way.

I re-read the story again and when I saw the ceo I still thought that she looks exactly like my mom in art form. Geez its pretty weird to think about that while reading this kind of story.
