Definitely nowhere near as bad as I expected given the tags, but I can see a hopeful ending here where our protag finally finds someone willing to stay with her without exploiting her for sex.

And in that sense I do agree someone should kill that teacher for having a student come to him with real problems and reacting to it by exploiting his power over her like this.

Second, the author is horrible, ending the story when it's finally becoming interesting.

Maybe I've missed something but this didn't feel like a yuri story. There was no indication she loved her friend in a romantic way. She just said she feels safe with her around all the toxic men in her life. Maybe it could've become yuri but what we were given doesn't suggest it ends with them together.

Good. Could use a bit more of the two together at the end, though, or a sequel.

I have the same feeling and feel similarly about calling her Bi. I don't see much there. It's a sweet ending, though, and I can assume the author maybe meant it as yuri. It's not "on the page," though, while as always the het stuff doesn't suffer from the same use of subtly. The other one shot from this author was also "light" but at least had them living together in the end. Still, it was enjoyable.

So, it's mixed. I think at best the author is using an old-school version of yuri (girls interacting, not necessarily romantic, subtlety, ambiguity, etc.). Anything else is not really in the story itself. Interesting read anyway.

The ending wasn't bad. A sequel could make the story a bit better by shining more light on the two girls.
Also Of course, he's an art teacher. I remember reading a similar story where the art teacher also took advantage of the student council president, and she mistook it for love. Even after he was fired, he continued his illicit relationship with her. I can't recall the title, and honestly, I don’t want to, it wasn’t a good story.

Not bad.

An interesting oneshot. I do kind of feel the author was trying to do a bit too much given the page count. With all the plot there wasn't really enough time to delve into the protagonist's mindset so it was hard to get a real good view of her as a character. I think it would've been significantly better if it were at least half again as long, and maybe combine the rapist character with the teacher. Still, I do appreciate the author trying to tackle complex topics and I did enjoy it overall.

The author's only in charge of the art for their currently running series so I wouldn't draw any conclusions from that. They've also posted plenty of yuri manga on their twitter. So I think going by the author's history too it's safe to call this oneshot yuri.
