Is it just me or did the art get better?

In the ever-growing pool of bland, tasteless and generic yuri series that keep being released, I can't stress how refreshing it is to read XIan Jun's stories. Besides the great art style, what sets GTB and now this manga apart is how the author slightly and cleverly twists overused tropes and situations to create comedy. It takes a good knowledge of the genre and a good understanding of the readers' horizon of expectations to write such a story that always feels lighthearted, always hits in the right spot and never feels heavy or obvious.

Well Director Shen is clearly going to top with that attitude of 'wipe that haughty look off her face' that she's got. Honestly with how dense Director Jiang is that might be the only catalyst for their relationship.

So glad this is back! Didn't realize Shen wore heels; this is nice. And Jiang somehow got her wish!

I love this series.

It's fascinating to compare this series to Ayaka and Hiroko. Both are about a dysfunctional office relationship, but this pairing's dysfunction is so ridiculously over the top, it's so much easier to just lean back and to enjoy the slow-mo train wreck without feeling bad for the main character(s).
