You can see her (Lucifer) in the opening pages. Funnily, Satan is also in the opening pages as being a totally different person in class Z. And apparently, there's a Ricky Gervais bloodline at this school? (Ah, nevermind, that's the french composer Gervaise.)

those are different Lucifer's, note that the A-Class students have numbers in their names that's the generation of that name they are, so the Lucifer icon we see at the start is a different Lucifer from who you see during chapter 1. Much the same way the Maria we see is the 13th Maria

I don't think that's entirely accurate. For instance, the Akrasiel icon from class A does not have an incarnation number, but it is possible we see a different Lucifer at the top of page 23. If it was the girl being kicked, it would be odd for someone outside of class A to have an angel's name. As others have said, this is a pretty convoluted setting premise and it's possible we missed something. If so we'll update it later as it did take a very long time to get all this info straightened out

Nope, if she was a child she would be in class Z. I think they move up to class A once they're 15

so I'm fairly certain the guy who is kicking the girl is the A-Class student Lucifer, he's made a mistake and is taking it out on someone else out of anger. Because like this scene comes immediately after Sara tells Ukyo that the A-class students have wildly different moralities to normal people as a result of growing up in this school.

Also the fact that some of the angels aren't from a generational line does not preclude the others to be from a line. Like when someone is the first of their name they don't have a number next to it, take for instance kings the first Louis wasn't named Louis I, he only became Louis The First retroactively when Louis The Second became king. So Akrasiel is likely just Akrasiel and there hasn't been a second one yet so they don't need to be called the first.

That could be, we'd have to check the raws and maybe update that line for clarity. Luckily, the particulars of that scene don't end up being relevant because that guy doesn't show up anymore. The scene is mainly there to showcase the violence and attitude of the nephilim. It would make sense if the guy was taking out his issues on his own caretaker student.

Although, at first half, it's kinda give a mainstream cinderella plot (with sci-fi) vibes that's make me doubt to continue to read. Then, the last part really make me want to read the next chapter soon.

Anyway, I'm not a fan of watersports, but seeing as how that little "accident" was quickly nipped in the bud, I think I might see where this story leads.

This one is very unique and I am down for it. At the beginning I though "oh no, another series with a school that treat children as tools and the higher standing students bully the lower standing ones and the mc is at the bottom having to live in this hell, bla bla bla..." but at the end where the mc actually straight out gave a shit about social standing and gave that brat what she deserved, I thought that this one is going to be different. I'm now looking forward to see where this ride takes me :)
