Or the author is in a knockdown drag out fight with editorial for how gay this will be and is buying time with these flashbacks to gauge reactions.

Less torture, more like checking in on everyone else as well. Don't forget that this isn't just about Komichi and Erika - their classmates are part of this journey just as much as they are. The manga essentially likes to take the scenic route anyway - but you more or less knew that already, right?

Also, that Shiyuu Troupe that shut down the play to begin with needs to be taught a lesson in "don't screw with Komichi and her friends."

Super glad this chapter got translated. Look at everyone coming together to support Komichi and each other! Even if they're down, they're sure as hell not out yet!

Also, Komichi and Touko hug!!! It really does feel like deja vu, hehe.

That was harsh. The other characters are fine, but I very much prefer chapters that focus on our adorable main couple. Ah how nice it is to type that... main couple.

Page 33 is absolute fire :O Komichi looks so darn cool and passionate, she's definitely going to go all in .

Honestly I think what this chapter was trying to show was the headspace that Komihi is currently in. To let her know that everyone has her back and she's free to enjoy her date with Erika to the fullest. So you know she's gonna give it 1000% effort. Can't let the homies down after all their hard work. Can't wait for the next chapter!!!
