Yo I like this a lot. On a personal level, as someone who got pushed around or treated as lesser or expendable during my school years, with people seemingly feeling free to treat me however they wanted while I couldn't push back for safety reasons, seeing someone treat an otaku character in a less-than-decent way, and then actually feel consequences for it, is super cathartic to me.
With that out of the way, even beyond the personal side, I like this as fea believable depiction of the way peoples' paths sometimes cross in meaningful, impactful ways that don't end up in some sort of strong connection or dramatic story. We don't get that very often, especially in a genre usually focused on romance, and it's really cool to see. The last story like that I can remember seeing on here was this one, which gave a similar sense of something that could be a full yuri story that ended up being just a moment. This kind of thing is good too, isn't it?
