More like Harumi's gonna throw her a party with their friends to get Yuzu's mind off of the fact that her fiance isn't around for her birthday. Even if she does want time alone, you swear like Matsuri's not going to show up unannounced and taco block/point out what a bad fiance Mei is for missing Yuzu's birthday until she hears about the "present" Mei wants to give of course, then she'll just endlessly tease Yuzu about finally getting laid.

It's more of a subtext thing on Harumi's part but to me the first half of volume 3 really solidifies the idea that she's interested in Matsuri in more than a ''friend helping a friend'' way.

No, I agree. She's always been drawn as "good-looking," but she's been getting the "hot af" treatment in recent chapters.

That's what I thought! She was already attractive in the original Citrus, but over the course of Citrus+ she's gotten more and more supermodel-like.

It's a welcome development, but it sorta feels strange. Not bad or good, just a bit awkward to see her undergoing notable physical growth when almost every other character looks exactly the same from Citrus.

TBF, Yuzu is more often than not the one who goes into gay panic mode and ruins the chances at intimacy they get. For a self professed gyaru, she's as innocent and pure hearted as the shyest of maidens :P

You'd think by now Mei knows better and can see through Matsuri's little games, but she's surprisingly naive taking her "long-time lover" story at face value like that.

I actually liked this chapter pretty well. It's still the nervous, insecure Mei, but her uncertainty is fairly justified in this case. Matsuri's strategy of loosening up Mei by getting her on a flume ride was rather inventive, too.

But two questions:

1) What is that thing that's "very popular among high school girls"?

2) Are Matsuri and Mei really wandering around the mall at 1:30 AM?

No wonder there are no other human beings in sight.

It looks like a small portable fan, I've seen them around a lot . I might be wrong though, I can't quite tell.
