Ah talent...Yeah I get that feeling...Some people have talent to be better than the majority, this can be in sports, ART, Story writing in books or being skilled at memorizing academics stuff in school...But not all talents/geniuses are equals sadly.

A level 7 talent might be amazing compared to normal people but it would be nothing compared to a level 10-11+ out of 10 talent. Kind of like how there were a few (3-5%) skilled talented surgeon in the past that could easily defeat and outperform most of today modern surgeons despite all of humanity's knowledge gained till today or the great inventors or scientists' achievements and intelligence like Einstein being much greater than more 'decent' talented scientists...It hurts to know your actually not that special but just slightly better than the majority but eh you learn to live with it eventually.

Teach seem to have her ego/pride boosted at this situation though...Let just hope she doesn't make any major bad decisions or mistakes though then what had already happen...

Oh my goodness...This is going to be messy. Why is this school filled to the brim with toxic relationships one after another?

I guess what the male teacher said at the beginning of the manga really is true. The best way to deal with those student confessions is to avoid answering them at all cost. No way anyone would agree if they want to remain a teacher, but if the feelings were directly shut down then the heartbroken youngsters may do some drastic things...ah, youth, how powerful yet dangerous.

(And I have to say, I started reading this manga because I was curious how will the main Yuri couple influence the whole storyline...but, although the story is still quite intriguing - I mean those "love" have too much suspense for me to give up - there's far too many change of POVs for things to stay consistent and leave a better impression ... perhaps it will all come together eventually?)

They are kids, teenagers to be presise, age is loose on their mind because they don’t see themselves as kids, they see themselves as adults, that is why her first though is not age. They see adults under 30 or ones that look young enough as their “peers”
A 19yo girl in a group I was in dated a 14yo and cheated on her with another 14yo. No one was shocked because of the age-gap (me neither and i was minor too) but because she cheated, at that age one is stupid about these things, nowadays I think kids are a lot more aware, but still.

On another note, I really like the teacher, I love low self-esteem adults that have destructive needs towards others. Its always a trope I enjoy, I am curious to see how this is going to end, her face shows panic, if she is not cautious she is going to lose everything. I hope our main couple doesn’t intervene, I want to see the teacher manage herself and if she lose everything its going to be fun too

Yeah it'll be interesting, seeing how this all unravels. Our main couple will definitely get involved though, that's part of story's flow and what connects each short story. I'm interested in how they'll become involved this time though. She's a teacher so they both know her and are her peers.

The first arc of the series is about the female student who tried dating our MC and some people wanted that for a bit (over our main couple). This is just more of the same, although this teacher seems more ready to take advantage of the situation, while Kaede and Nami properly said "No."

Oh definitely, I am aware it’s the format of this manga, as you said I am intrigued how they will interfere! They didn’t seem to mind age-gap or teacher-student thaaat much either, so I don’t think it will that direction and everything will revolve more around the issue of the teacher's self-esteem.
But also I wish to see how the teacher manage by herself, the obvious option is to end things with the boy, but what if he make a fuss? what if the teacher uses this instance to boost her ego even more and make the girl jealous because the boy choose her instead? It would be interesting to see how she keep spiraling on her own and in the end everything explodes and she has to figure it out alone.

Right and this is a story that takes the inappropriateness of teachers dating students seriously. Like i'm not going to cry over this in a series that wants to be lighthearted fun but here, yeah, a high school student who sees that her crush is himself crushing on a teacher would be aware of that teachers are not allowed to date students.

I'm not pointing at the screen going "I've spotted an inconsistensy" but teenagers are aware of what is allowed and what isn't, what is exploitation and what isn't. They're just also often willing to bend those rules if it benefits them. The teacher who is hot is an acceptable target for confessions and your friends will happily support your efforts, the teacher who isn't gets jokingly mocked as a creep and your friends will openly talk about how they'd get that teacher fired if they dare do anything inappropriate.

The fact that this Kizaki's first thought is "doesn't she have a boyfriend" instead of "but she's the teacher" shows a priority in her thinking that I'm not attacking on the basis that it makes no sense for her to be written that way, but rather because it shows a deep heteronormativity within her where cheating is a higher affront than grooming would be.

And that tracks, the amount of famous straight couples that happily talk about how they first met/fell in love/started dating while one of them was still underage and the other in their twenties is staggering and most cases it is just accepted as fine. Because the heteronormative ideal doesn't really care about it so long as it helped get a man and a woman together.

And you're right the teacher Katou is willing to bend the rules herself as well, longing to be special to someone who is in her eyes special. To be more than just yet another normal art teacher who only got to be a child genius. Is it her active intention to groom Nakaoka not really, but she is going over the line in order to feel better for herself and in doing so she's pushing both of them down that same road regardless.

She's lucky right now that she has an out, the threat brought on Kizaki could give her the pause she needs to step away from her self-destructive behaviour. But that is for a future chapter and I'm never keen on predicting what happens next.

I'm honestly pretty surprised that the ending of Chapter 13 that introduced this arc was a fake-out of sorts; while Katou's behavior is extremely inappropriate, she does not currently seem to intend to enter a romantic/sexual relationship with Nakaoka, and is instead "merely" encouraging his crush in order to feel better about herself. I'm curious to see whether her arc will involve her pulling herself back from the edge, or becoming fully irredeemable scum.

Hmm...It really amusing and interesting...These highschool students are around the age of 16 to almost 18. Still a minor and youngster but almost adults in 1-2 years once they hit age 18-19+. getting into weird, insane and crazy illogical trouble before that time though...It also depends on the person/student in question though...Some are pretty smart and mature while some are just plain stupid and continue to be immature and irresponsible even in their mid 20s sadly...

To be honest once again...MC and the other 'responsible' adults in the school are not getting paid enough money to deal with their issues and problems...And just like some user/commentators here, wondering how our MC and her waifu ends up getting involved in this storyline/arc...

Yup, trying to feel better about herself due to feeling hurt and feeling like all her hard work+Effort in her artwork is pointless when a talented genius does it...If she is smart she knows when to step back while taking some subtle small acts of revenge by firmly rejecting him but if she choose the wrong option to feel better from the sense of control then it would be more amusing like watching a trainwreck happen if the author goes that route to entertain the readers for the juicy drama.

It also doesn't help that her boyfriend gave her the wrong answer about why he likes her...

Art Sensei here...Thankfully didn't kiss dumb talented art boy yet...Thankfully...Just was artistic mislead and implied to have to the readers in chapter 13 thankfully. Though that might fking change soon in the next chapters if she messes up on what actions and choices to take...

Next, Naoko Ritsu-san won an award last year, apparently, so what time frame does chapter 15 take place in? On page 1, we see him accept an award, and the narration says it was a year ago. On page 2, it looks like the girl (is this the teacher?) is at the ceremony for Naoko Ritsu-san receiving the award, a year ago? Are the blonde characters the same character or different characters? We see lesbian main couple for 20% of this and their relationship solidity isn't even very convincing… the rest is weird het nonsense.

How dare a manga feature something else other than the main couple or main genre. Oh no, the horror. If you only want your fantasy reinforced, you've chosen the wrong manga

There is enough yuri that will satisfy your needs. Kiss and White Lily for my Dearest for example. It's only yuri couples everywhere.

The manga has consistently focused on the female characters anyway. In the love triangle arc for example, the relationship between the two girls got more attention than either girl's romance with the dude. And in this arc, the teacher is the (villainous) protagonist.
