I see! That's basically the perfect median point for my money. It absolutely makes sense for them to wrap things up, but 4 more chapters is a much nicer pace than 1 or 2. I'm really excited!

I wish for an anime adaptation for this. It lives at the perfect intersection of wholesome and horny. It's important to tell your lover that you love them. you have to water and feed your love like a plant. Water and feed them with hugs and kisses, but also with words and deeds. It's always kind of fun to me when you see a chapter and just know it's the mangaka info dumping about whatever thing they researched to theme the manga around. I'll admit to usually skipping over the exposition about it, but it's nice to feel that earnest happiness in the knowledge they've gained or want to share expressed on the page.

It's called forêt-noire in Japanese (fore nowaaru) and the multiple references to French cuisine in this manga didn't make me question the name at all. I have no idea how I even managed to miss it being German, even though I did look it up. I'll just keep it as forêt-noire, but thanks for pointing it out at least!
