This manga is like edging

this is the first time this series pmo girl WE HAD THE PERFECT BUILDUP but I guess god's plan is different.

im a bit frustrated with the constant bait and switches but I don't mind Hario getting fleshed out a bit more as we go into the climax. he's as much a part of the story as Ema and Takara, as him being a genuinely supportive figure is the main thing that keeps this from being a dime a dozen "woman cheats on her evil husband with her true love" story. ema cares for him even if she doesn't love him so I don't mind the development, but god takara is exhausting.

the period feels like an asspull i would feel better reading it if she just had cold feet man

I KNEW IT! I knew the author was gonna find some way for them to miss each other AGAIN, but being interrupted by a period was not on my bingo card.... >_>

This is my favourite story at the moment, but this chapter, right now? Fuck it. Seriously.

It's sorta funny that as Ema's mental health improves, Takara's deteriorates. Maybe they'll eventually meet in the middle like some kind of psychological Benjamin Button romance.

It feels like things were stretched a bit to fit the volume's typical 5-chapter length; there's one more chapter in this volume. So hopefully, after this volume is done, things will start moving again.

This manga edging dangerously close to "How do I Get Together With My Childhood Friend?" levels of confession sabotage.

Hario does need a bit more screentime tbh, he's been conveniently absent for a while. Would be weird if he wasn't jealous of Takara considering it's kind of obvious by now Ema likes her more than him and he's been waiting literal years for Ema to come around to him.
