Sad that this ended....but at least it ended on a happy ending note though (No harem ending but at least MC got an amazing tsundere [Mostly dere now with a small hint of possessive yandereness] at the end.)
It happens...That is just how business works sadly, supply and demand, if enough buyers= more demand + profits for company but if not enough target profits then sadly axed. The author's art and talent in story writing helps but marketing helps as well like using social media to spread the word and etc.
It was a nice touch that MC and her friend(Wife) write the love umbrella with their real names.
I seen lot of good manga/animes in the past canceled (Both yuri and non-yuri types, some short lived while others got lucky enough to reach 100+ chapters) while others series or creative media work stay alive and thrive in profits.
