I don't think it's really fair to say she "ended their lives as they know it". Sure, Wakana's gone off the deep end, but that seems to be more because she wanted to go off the deep end and even if Ruruna could release her she'd probably keep at it. Yura, by contrast, seems to still be acting pretty normally. She's getting dragged in to Wakana's shenanigans more, but she was already inclined to follow Wakana and I don't think it's had that large of an impact on her life.

starting to realize Wakana is more messed up than Ruruna and that makes it way more entertaining lol

You're only just now realizing that?

I think it depends on the vampire mythology, here it hasn't gone super in depth with vampire lore and the girls seem to retain their sense of self. Maybe Johnb saw Sinners, and they're thinking about how the vampires in that movie are more of a hivemind, where you die and you lose your sense of self. When you get converted by a vampire you're no longer you, instead you're part of a collective whole. Which is really creepy. I'm glad this manga doesn't seem to be going that route, and it's mostly just having fun with vampire themes in a more campy rom-com way lol

This is like one of those stories where the 'humble servant' turns out to be the secret boss all along.

At this point I just want to see how the situation keeps growing out of hand thanks to Wakana's antics.

Ruruna's pretty slow on the uptake if she didn't see this suggestion coming.

Anyway, because Wakana and Yura had such wildly different reactions to becoming Kin, I'm pretty curious to have a third data point.

Wakana has been the real monster all along.

....also can Ruruna fly!?!? Or was she just talking while falling?

No, she just jumped out of the classroom window, did a three point landing in front of sensei (which you can see reflected in her iris), and then started talking. Superhuman physique is pretty standard fare for vampires. :-)

madam why did you take off her clothes?

madam why did you take off her clothes?

Trust me taking off clothes is totally necessary to check if she hid weapons

Mistake? Silly Ruru-tan, making Wakana your right-hand, faithful executioner, and first bride was the best decision you've ever had the fortune to make in your entire life!

... Why did they strip her before tying her to the chair?

Weirdly, there's a sensible answer to this. Most people would be hesitant to run into public half-naked. Even in a situation like this, baked in social norms will get you faster than you expect.

She’s tied up AND outnumbered. Stripping her partially nude seems overkill + if anyone were to open that door/enter the classroom they couldn’t come up with a BS lie

Yes, well, we know what the REAL answer is, and it has to do with Wakana's freaky teen hormones. Well, and the audience's.

starting to think becoming a vampire thrall might be a metaphor or something

But why did they take off the teacher's clothes?
Would Wakana actually kill the teacher?
So many questions

Love that Wakana really would have just straight up killed her if Miyako wasn't a virgin.

Also like I migt be reading it wrong but on Page 6 Ruruna really doesn't look like she wants to bite sensei lmao.

Ruruna's tangible disgust for loser-sensei is so so good. I love sensei already!

Its a vampire story. We are here to see girls get turned into vampires. Why would there be a way to turn them back? The whole appeal of romantic vampire stories has always been that you cant back out after being turned.

Ruruna definitely didn't want to bite her. (Un)Fortunately, Wakana is in charge of this harem.

Sensei is going to enjoy a lot of benefits from being their friends.
